You may be admitted as a patient to Alorf Hospital in several ways. First, you were seen by our consultant in the clinic and she or he may have referred you to be admitted. Or, you may have come to the Emergency room seeking treatment for an urgent condition. If you suffered an emergency condition, an ambulance or other emergency personnel would have brought you to the Emergency Department.
However, you have come to us; we welcome you and wish you a comfortable and pleasant stay at Alorf Hospital . Do remember that if you are not in any critical condition, and if time permits, it is best if you prepare for your hospital stay.
UPON ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, client is escorted by our patient's assistants to the main reception to open file. Our main receptionists are always ready to provide any kind of service and information requested.
BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
There is two way in booking an appointment, by phone or by personal appearance. A patient can book appointment by calling 2455-5050 and dial the extension numbers of the departments you want to have an appointment. Or a client can also come personally to the reception to get an appointment. You need to have your civil ID or any identification card in opening a file.
TO GET ADMITTED
Out Patient:
We require any kind of identification card, preferably civil ID. If the patient is member of any insurance company, then we are requiring also for the insurance card for processing of the bill.
In-Patient:
We receive patients referred by other consultants from other hospitals or consultants within our hospital. They should have with them a referral letter to be admitted in our hospital for observation, operation, delivery and etc. We require also any kind of identification card preferably civil ID or passport. If the client has insurance then insurance card is required.
For those patients who came without any referral letter from any consultant they will be seen by our ER doctors' before admission and admission process will take place.
ROOM SELECTION
Private Room:
With utmost consideration for the patients who demand affordability without sacrificing their comfort. Alorf hospital offers a First Class rooms to answer this unique need. Private Rooms are located at second, fourth, fifth and sixth floor.
The room is also equipped with a plasma TV with a cable, refrigerator, airconditioned, telephone, sofa and pipe in oxygen and suction machine that all build up to a positive experience.
First Class:
First Class rooms at Alorf Hospital are popular choice among patients. Newly refurbished and air-conditioned rooms are spacious enough to accommodate thoughtful amenities such as a day bed, easy chair and bedside table alongside the patients' bed. First Class rooms are located at second and fourth floor.

Emergencies:
For emergency cases, we also require for any kind of identification card preferably civil ID or passport. If the client has insurance then insurance card is required.
Labor Suite Admission:
Before you will be admitted to the Labor Suite, you have to present the referral letter to the counter desk and do the admissions process of the in-patient. After the admission process done you will be accompanied by the nurse to go to the labor suite located in 3 rd floor new building. Any patient without Admission Sheet they are supposed to be seen by the ER doctor first before admission.
Operation Theatre:
After the admission process of the In-patient. Patient will be admitted in her or his selected room for preparation of the operation to be done to her or him.
What to bring?
• Any identification card preferably civil ID or passport, insurance card and papers to be filled up for your insurance claims, marriage contracts and husbands civil ID.
• If you are under medication, try to bring the said medicines
Not to bring!
• Personal valuables and belongings like jewelries, money, mobiles and etc. Our hospital is not responsible for the loss of your valuables and possessions. Leave all your jewelry, money, wallets at home for their safekeeping.
Units and rooms orientations
• A nurse will admit and accompany you to room.
• All facilities and services for the client convenience such telephone, television and etc are available in our hospital.
• The nurse will instruct you how to use of bed; nurses call system and smoking policy will be explained.
Home Medicines
• All patients will be discharged with proper discharge information. Home medications and follow up appointments will be given and explained to them.
• Any procedures to be continued at home will be explained to the patients, relatives or caregiver that will take care for her or him.
